Jim Lowers became President in April of 2003.

The start of a fifteen year project to rebuild the plant in preparation to provide fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) throughout our entire serving territory started in 2006.

The Nordheimer Flat line extension grant project was completed in October of 2009. The CPUC made an appearance for the groundbreaking ceremony, as the first telephone call was placed. 

A new microwave link was established between Yreka and Dunsmuir to provide a secondary and alternative route for handling call traffic.
