*Updating the extension(s) in Google Chrome to the latest version has proven to be an effective solution for resolving the issues. In cases where certain extensions lack a recent update, disabling them has also proved successful in resolving the problem. (In Chrome click on the 3 dots on the top right, then extensions and manage extensions)
