Subsistence Payment Program Application

Resources are available to help income-qualified Siskiyou County residents. Households struggling with their utilities can apply for the Subsistence Payment Program through Great Northern Services or call 1-530-938-4115 extension 122.
Qualified households can receive up to $900 total covering past and current utility bills.
To receive assistance, you must meet the program requirements and complete and submit all required documentation before June 30, 2023.
Broadband/Internet: Provide a copy of all pages of the household’s most recent bill from Siskiyou Telephone. The current bill cannot be a “final or closing bill” and there needs to be a minimum of 22 elapsed days in the billing cycle. The program cannot pay for landline telephone services.
