Siskiyou Telephone will automatically prevent your phone number from being transmitted to the person or business you are calling.

However, you can still choose to transmit your number on selected calls before you dial the number. Blocking does not work when calling 800 or 900 services or 9-1-1.

How to use:

• Pick up your handset and listen for the dial tone.

• Press *82. On a rotary phone, dial 1182.

• Dial the number you’re calling as usual.

• The person you’ve called will be able to see your telephone number displayed on their telephone display screen.

Note:

You must dial *82 before each call you place. Otherwise, your phone number will be blocked to the person receiving your call.
