Allows you to take a second call while placing the first call on hold. Return to the first call after your second call has ended. No more busy signals.

To answer Call Waiting:
Press the "switchhook" when you hear the tone.
Another reminder tone will be heard 10 seconds later if the waiting call remains unanswered.
Press the "switchhook" again to return to the first call.
To deactivate Call Waiting:
Press 70# to cancel call-by-call.
Listen for the confirmation tone and place your call.
Notes:
The “switchhook” is the round, flat, or square button you push to hang up the phone.
