Trouble logging into email.
I'm having trouble togging in to my email, why won't it accept my password? The most common problem is having the cap Locks button ON when typing in your password. Make sure the cap locks are OFF. Remember, your password in case sensitive. Make sure you are using the correct username for your account. This is your full email address, 'username'@sisqtel.net. If you have forgotten your password please call the main office during business hours (530)467-6000 or Toll Free 1(866)467-6001.

What type of dial-up modems does Sisqtel use for their Dial-Up Internet Service?
We are running 56k V.92 modems at all our central offices. All of our customers should see connect speeds between 14.4k and 53k depending on their modem and this will vary (this is normal). Important: Some of our customers will not be able to utilize 56k technology at this time because of their equipment, their location, or the distance from their central office. We cannot, and do not, guarantee any specific connect speed
Dial-up Multiple logins
If I have dial-up server through sisqtel.net, can I have two computers connected to Sisqtel Internet at the same time? No! Your account only allows you to connect one computer at a time to Sisqtel. If you wish to have two computers connected to the Internet at the same time you should think about getting DSL with a router.
Disconnected from dial-up after 20 minutes.
Why do I get disconnected if I leave my computer unattended for twenty minutes? Your Internet account includes unlimited "attended" use. If you leave your computer unattended for twenty minutes, you will automatically be disconnected. This is a standard that the majority of ISP's accross the country have.
Call Waiting
How do I cancel call waiting while I'm on the Internet? Call waiting can be disabled for one call at a time. Click on the "Dial Properties..." button on your Window. Check the box that says "This location has call waiting" To disable it select:70#. When you disconnect from the internet, call waiting will automatically be restored to your line.

What type of modems does Sisqtel use for their DSL internet service? You will find setup information on our current DSL modems here.
DSL Multiple connections
Can I use more than one computer with DSL? Yes! There are two ways of doing this.
1. You can use a basic DSL modem in bridged mode with a router.
2. You can buy a combo DLS Modem/Router. Call our main office and find out which is right for you.
Create a web page
How do I create and publish my vanity page?
You may use sitecreator to create and publish your webpage.
Use your sisqtel.net username and password to login.
I would suggest creating your page from scratch.

Where is my webpage?
How do I find my vanity page? You will find your vanity page at the following URL http://users.sisqtel.net/"your username" where "your username" is the first part of your email address.
how many webpages can I have?
You may have as many webpages as you like. You must stay within your alotted quota of disk space.
How much disk space do I have?
25Mb
Can I create multiple websites?
Yes. Just create a new folder for each webpage. The main page should be named index.html.
The URL would look something like this:
http://users.sisqtel.net/"your username"/"folder name"
It is best practice to keep spaces and special characters out of your file names and folder names.
Can I have a domain name forwarded to my vanity page?
Yes. Please contact your domain host for more information.
FTP Settings
Which settings do i use for my FTP client?
Host: users.sisqtel.net
username: The first part of your email address. If your email address is "example@sisqtel.net' your ftp username would be example.
Password: Use the same password that you would use to get your sisqtel.net email.
